Role summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time School Social Worker for the 2026-2027 school year in Lincoln Park, MI, serving middle school students. The role involves providing direct and indirect social work services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, conducting IEP evaluations, facilitating group and individual sessions, and supporting students and families with community resources. Qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and Michigan School Social Work Certification. Prior school-based experience and experience with preschool-aged children are preferred. Location: Lincoln Park, MI

Start Date: ASAP - End of the School Year

Salary: $60,000 - $78,000 annualized salary (W2, paid weekly) based on experience and qualifications

    • About the Opportunity:

    AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Lincoln Park, MI. This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year. As a School Social Worker with AnthroMed, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team that values student success, personal growth, and professional development. We offer unmatched clinical support, free LCSW supervision, ongoing training, and a network of peers who are passionate about making a difference.

    Caseload and Environment:

  • Targeted Caseload: Approximately 18 students on caseload in an EI, center-based program
  • Focus: Supporting learners with moderate to severe behaviors who require higher levels of support. There are eight other social workers in this program who also support students.
  • Dedicated Space: You will have a private, dedicated office space in the building to conduct sessions and meetings.

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
  • Push in to classrooms to provide therapy while supporting and collaborating with teachers.
  • Work together with the multidisciplinary team to prioritize student success and safety.
  • Conduct IEP evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals.
  • Facilitate small group and individual sessions.
  • Lead and support the implementation of BIPs and FBAs.
  • Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
  • Support students and families in accessing community resources.

    • Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required)
  • Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred along with prior school-based experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
