Program Manager III
Role summary
This senior-level Program Manager III role supports Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) programs, focusing on acquisitions, resourcing, contracts, and overall program execution. The position requires extensive experience in business or program management, including financial analysis, budgeting, and resource allocation. Key responsibilities include managing contractor staff, supporting program office leadership, and preparing essential documentation. A Master's degree or equivalent experience, a PMP or DAU Level III certification, and an active Secret security clearance are mandatory. Prior NAVSOF military experience and familiarity with NSW undersea programs are highly desired. This role is part of a proposal effort, contingent upon contract award.
Position Summary
Senior-level program manager supporting Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) programs, focusing on acquisitions, resourcing, contracts, and program execution. Provides leadership support, manages contractor staff, and ensures alignment with mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Support NSW/SOF resourcing, acquisition, and contract activities.
· Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and program planning.
· Support program office leadership and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
· Manage Prime Contractor personnel and coordinate task execution.
· Identify support requirements and allocate resources to meet milestones.
· Prepare briefings, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
· 20+ years professional experience in business or program management.
· 15+ years experience directly supporting business or program management roles.
· Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
· Bachelor’s degree or 18 years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
· PMP or DAU Level III Program Management certification.
· Active Secret security clearance.
Highly Desired
· Prior NAVSOF military experience.
· Familiarity with NSW undersea manned and unmanned programs.
