Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Product Owner to support a new initiative. This individual will be responsible for driving development efforts from a product perspective, ensuring that work is well-organized, prioritized, and aligned with business needs. The role involves representing business stakeholders to elicit, understand, analyze, and communicate business requirements for the delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage product workstreams for a new banking initiative.
- Organize and guide development efforts from a product ownership standpoint.
- Partner closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements.
- Translate business needs into actionable product direction and create prioritized stories.
- Support Agile delivery and product lifecycle execution.
- Serve as the day-to-day decision-maker and provide continual business guidance for an Agile team.
- Work with management to understand and validate business strategy and customer needs.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing prior to the release of application updates.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
Approximately 5 years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role with a strong background in product management and business analysis. Proven experience driving projects from a product perspective and organizing development efforts is required. Experience working in Agile environments is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe Practitioner (SP), SAFe Agilist, or SAFe Product Owner/Manager certification.
- Experience with Jira or other SDLC/SPLC platforms.
Compensation
Pay Rate: $60.00/hr - $70.00/hr
