Role summary

Apple is seeking a Software Engineering Project Manager for its tvOS team. This role involves partnering with software engineers and managers to define, schedule, and track team work, as well as managing multi-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a central hub, coordinating across Software, Hardware, and Design teams to deliver innovative technology for operating systems. A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical software project or program management, with a strong understanding of operating systems and the software stack, is required. Experience delivering customer-facing features from concept to delivery and excellent communication skills are essential.

Description

In this role you will partner with software engineers and managers from our Software Engineering team to define, schedule, and track the team's work and also do the same for many multi-functional initiatives. You will be the central hub bringing together different teams from Software, Hardware and Design, among other teams, all in the name of delivering on groundbreaking technology across all our operating systems.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager Experience delivering customer-facing software features or projects from concept through delivery Strong technical understanding of operating systems and how the various layers in the software stack fit together Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences

Preferred Qualifications

Proven track record in defining processes and executing on them Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities Has a deeply curious mindset about new ideas Excellent attention to detail and highly organized Ability to build relationships and influence others BS in Computer Science or related field
