Role summary
Armada is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing Finance team. This remote role, based in SF Bay Area, NYC, or Seattle, will be responsible for maintaining financial record integrity, managing assigned general ledger areas, supporting close processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The scope includes AP, AR, revenue, expenses, fixed assets, debt, leases, and inventory, with a focus on the Galleon program (modular data centers). The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, and eager to build scalable processes in a high-growth AI infrastructure company. This is a high-impact role for an individual contributor who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership.
About the Company
Armada is the hyperscaler for the edge, delivering modular AI infrastructure from first deployment to AI factory with speed, scale and sovereignty. Named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies and to the CNBC Disruptor 50, Armada’s solutions are deployed in over 60 countries globally for organizations ranging from energy to defense.
With nearly $500 million in funding to date, Armada is backed by leading investors including Founders Fund, Lux, BlackRock and Microsoft (M12), alongside strategic partnerships with Microsoft, Dell, Palantir, NVIDIA, SpaceX, and Skydio. We are building the infrastructure layer for sovereign and edge AI - rugged, deployable compute for customers that cannot rely on centralized cloud.
Working at Armada means taking ownership, driving autonomy, and delivering impact. You’ll tackle challenges that haven’t been solved before and help build something transformative from the ground up. What you do here will not only define your career but help further Armada’s mission to bridge the digital divide for customers around the world.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant at Armada, you will be a key member of our growing Finance team, responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records as we scale rapidly. You will manage assigned areas of the general ledger function, support month-end and year-end close processes, and partner cross-functionally with teams across the business to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
This is a general GL role with real breadth. Depending on business needs, your scope will span AP, AR, revenue, expenses, fixed assets and depreciation, debt, and leases, and it will shift as Armada grows. Our Galleon program (modular, deployed data centers) is a core part of the business and a meaningful piece of this role, including inventory, CIP, capitalization, and fixed asset accounting, but it is one of several areas you will cover rather than the whole job.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, and excited about building scalable processes at one of the most exciting companies in AI infrastructure. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and enjoys building scalable processes in a high-growth environment.
