Role summary
ARSIEM Corporation is seeking an Applications Developer II to support a government client in Dulles, VA. The role involves designing, troubleshooting, and implementing software code for end-to-end development, including enhancing, debugging, integrating, and testing new products. Responsibilities include resolving software issues, recommending application packages, and ensuring quality control. The position requires a BS in a computer-related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years in applications development. Key technical skills include knowledge of secure SDLC, code versioning, Python, AWS resources (S3, SQS, Lambda, Glue, Route 53), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), RESTful APIs, and data transformation. Experience with COTS integration and customer interaction is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with JSON, Data Analytics tools (MongoDB, Elastic Search, Databricks, Postgres), Ansible, Vue.js, React, HTML, Podman, UI Development, and CI/CD. An active Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and DHS Suitability.

ARSIEM is looking for an Applications Developer to design, troubleshoot, and implement software code for end-to-end software development. This position will support one of our Government clients in Dulles, VA.Design, troubleshoot, and implement software code for end-to-end software development
Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, integrates, and implements software
Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the integration of new products based on user requirements
Initiates action for evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
Design, develop, integrate, and interface with web application RESTful APIs
Implements recommendations for improving documentation and development process standards
Ensures quality control of all developed and modified prototype software
Design, develop, integrate, and interface with web application RESTful APIs BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related degree; or HS Diploma & 4-6 years of directly relevant experience.
2+ years of directly relevant experience in applications development
Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and code versioning and maintenance
Experience with assessing and integrating commercial off the shelf (COTS) products
Knowledge and familiarity to work with the installation, demonstration, test, validation and evaluation of new and existing software, tools, methods, and software measurement technologies
Operational experience with Python
Experience working with AWS resources such as S3, SQS, Lambda, Glue, and Route 53
Knowledge of software application development and RESTful architecture
Knowledge of data transformation and manipulation via code
Experience working and developing in/with containerization software including Kubernetes and Docker
Must have strong communication skills and have experience interacting with customers directly in a project environment or technical demonstration
Must be able to work collaboratively across remote and physical locations Experience with two or more of the following: JSON, Data Analytics, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Databricks, Postgres, Ansible, Vue.js, React, HTML, Podman, Process Automation, UI Development, CI/CD knowledge
Familiarity with data transformation (ETL)

Sec+ Clearance Requirement: Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
