Role summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance planning and reliability. This role involves leading, training, and mentoring the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and compliance with MSHA/OSHA regulations. Responsibilities include managing mechanical and electrical systems, reviewing work requests, troubleshooting machinery, and planning maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, with 5 years in a supervisory role exhibiting progressive leadership, and possess strong electrical experience. Preferred experience includes slurry equipment, conveyors, drying, and screening, along with mining or oilfield background.

How You Will Make an Impact:

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the plant’s maintenance planning and reliability. The Maintenance Manager will lead, train and mentor the maintenance team ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.

Responsibilities:

Train and supervise employees in the maintenance department.

Interview for maintenance positions.

Ensure operational efficiency of the mechanical and electrical systems through timely inspections and repairs.

Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and Company safety regulations and standards.

Reviewing, approving and prioritizing work requests for mechanical/electrical repairs and all safety and work permits

Troubleshoot and repair any piece of machinery to ensure it works properly and is safe for employees to use.

Planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance projects and programs

Successfully leads a technical team – mentoring, coaching and leading

Participates in performance discussions and corrective action

Preferred experience with slurry equipment, conveyors, drying and screening.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10+ years of experience with 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role with exhibiting progressive leadership

Mining and/or oilfield experience is preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Electrical experience a must

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the site/facility.

Frequently lift 65 lbs. or more.

Frequently climbs ladders and stairs.
