Role summary
Weston Tennis Center is seeking a full-time Pro Shop/Membership Manager to manage membership prospecting, lead generation, and retention. This role involves creating membership action plans, overseeing pro shop operations, supervising staff, managing POS systems and daily transactions, reconciling deposits, and handling collections. The ideal candidate will contribute to a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment, ensuring a positive experience for members and staff while maintaining club rules and confidentiality. This position offers eligibility for healthcare, retirement, time off, and potential bonuses/commissions.
- Manages membership prospecting and lead generation
- Creates a membership action plan and goals
- Manages membership cancellations, freezes, and changes of membership
- Ensures an upbeat and safe environment for the enjoyment of the membership and staff at all times
- Ensures compliance with club rules by members and staff
- Protects the confidentiality and privacy of the membership
- Supervises and provides regular training to pro shop attendants so that all pro shop operations run seamlessly
- Oversees and reviews POS reports daily to ensure transactions are properly entered and resolves any POS issues and questions
- Reconciles and makes weekly deposits following the deposit procedure
- Manages collections by following up on chargebacks, NSF charges, and nonmember charges on accounts
- Performs other duties as required
