Role summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices architecture and modern technologies. The role involves developing Java Spring Boot microservices, building REST services, and implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Maven, GitLab, and GitOps within an Agile framework. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is essential. Requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance and a Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Position Summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to support the modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. This role supports microservices development, REST services, and CI/CD implementation in an Agile delivery environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects.
Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
Support Agile software development and delivery.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with at least 2 of the following:
- Java, Spring Boot, or Python.
- Microservice architectures.
- CI/CD tools including AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- NoSQL or MongoDB query and schema design.
- OAuth/OIDC implementation.
- Test frameworks and automation including Playwright and Cucumber.

Required Education and Experience Equivalency

Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of experience.
Master's Degree with 7 years of experience.
PhD with 7 years of experience.

Required Certifications

None specified.

Required Security Clearance

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.
