Role summary

Basis North America is seeking six experienced I&C Technician Contractors for a short-term assignment in California, expected to last from September 21, 2026, through approximately October 24, 2026. The role requires hands-on experience with Emerson Ovation systems, DCS systems, Instrumentation and Controls (I&C), control cabinet modifications, field troubleshooting, testing and commissioning support, point-to-point verification, network and controller testing, and alarm verification. Responsibilities include cabinet modifications, troubleshooting, testing, and installation support. Previous experience in power generation or industrial facilities is highly desirable. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and available to mobilize to California.

Basis North America is seeking six (6) experienced I&C Technician Contractors for a short-term assignment in California.

Project Details

Location: California
Expected Start Date: September 21, 2026
Estimated Duration: Through approximately October 24, 2026
Positions Available: 6

Required Experience
Candidates should have hands-on experience with:

Emerson Ovation systems
DCS systems
Instrumentation and Controls (I&C)
Control cabinet modifications
Field troubleshooting
Testing and commissioning support
Point-to-point verification
Network and controller testing
Alarm verification
Installation and system modification activities

Scope of Work

Selected technicians may support:

Cabinet modifications
TMOD implementation
DVT execution
PMT execution
Point-to-point verification
Field troubleshooting
Network and controller testing
Alarm verification activities
RTS readiness activities
Installation support
Recovery and contingency actions as required

Preferred Background

Previous experience supporting commissioning, startup, outage, modification, testing, or recovery activities in power generation or other industrial facilities is highly desirable.

Candidates must be able to work in the United States and be available to mobilize to California for the required project dates.
