Role summary
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our remote-first team. This hands-on role involves end-to-end feature development across the UI, backend, and database layers, focusing on building scalable systems for high-traffic campaigns. You will influence architectural decisions, improve system performance and reliability, and solve complex problems in payments and user experience. The ideal candidate has strong programming experience, proficiency with MVC frameworks, relational databases, and cloud platforms, with a preference for Ruby on Rails and fintech experience.
We are looking for a high-ownership Full Stack Engineer to help scale aproduct that directly impacts millions of users. This is a hands-on role whereyou will contribute across the stack, influence architectural decisions, andship features that matter.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features from concept to production
- Work across UI, backend services, and database performance
- Design scalable architecture and make thoughtful technical trade-offs
- Debug and resolve issues across the entire stack
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences
- Support production systems and improve reliability
Required Experience
- Strong real-world programming experience (not just academic)
- Ability to work confidently across frontend and backend
- Experience with MVC frameworks (Rails, Django, Pyramid, or similar)
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite)
- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, or similar)
- Ability to balance speed with clean, maintainable code
Nice to Have
- Deep experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails
- PostgreSQL performance tuning or database administration
- Experience building systems used by large user bases
- Understanding of caching, networking, and system performance
- Experience with fintech, payments, or crowdfunding platforms
- Strong product sense and eye for user-friendly UI
