Role summary

Birgo is seeking temporary Maintenance Technicians for approximately 1-3 months to perform apartment and townhome maintenance. Responsibilities include grounds upkeep, common area maintenance, turnovers, and repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC. The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and comfort working in confined spaces and with power tools. This position offers $19-24/hour, weekly pay, and potential overtime.

Job Summary

Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate. Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a few qualified technicians for a TEMPORARY position performing apartment and townhome maintenance. We are looking for temp help in Greensburg, North Versailles, and the South Hills. These positions will last approximately 1 month to 3 months (could extend longer if needed and/or convert to FTE).

Pay and Benefits

$19-24/hour, paid weekly

Scheduled Monday–Friday, with shifts of 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., as assigned, with an additional on-call rotation

Mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities

Grounds upkeep and common area maintenance (may occasionally involve cleaning)

Turnovers/make-readies

Repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC

Preventative maintenance

Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

Eligible to work in the United States

Valid driver’s license

Personal, reliable mode of transportation

Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance

Safely utilize power tools

Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
