Role summary
Boomtown Casino Hotel is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements and reports, reconcile accounts, and assist with closing processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of accounting experience, a strong understanding of GAAP, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and strong analytical skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with casino accounting systems and knowledge of Title 31, gaming regulations, and SOX compliance.

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset records
- Provide support for audits and other financial reviews
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
