Role summary
CMT is seeking a Principal Social Media Manager to build its social presence from the ground up, focusing on AI in mobility. This role involves developing and executing organic and paid social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, creating engaging content, and managing paid campaigns. The manager will collaborate with various teams, including AI, Data Science, Product, Marketing, Design, and Employer Brand, to translate complex technology into compelling narratives. Key responsibilities include managing the social media calendar, analyzing performance, leveraging AI tools for efficiency, and establishing employee advocacy programs. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in B2B tech/AI social media, strong content creation and video skills, expertise in paid social platforms, and a proven ability to grow audience and engagement. This hybrid role reports to the Director of Marketing and requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
This role blends the tech and human story. As our Principal Social Media Manager, you'll show what an AI leader in mobility looks like to the insurance, automotive, and public-sector leaders who depend on us, the AI talent who want to build here, and the wider industry watching where mobility AI goes next. You'll put road safety in front of millions of people: drivers, families, and the companies that can change what happens on the road. Behind every number in our data is a person who made it home. Your job is to make people see it, share it, and act on it. Your work will help save lives.
You'll build CMT's social presence from the ground up: start our paid social program, make LinkedIn the place industry leaders follow for mobility AI, and use Instagram and Facebook to show the people and culture behind the work. You'll create amazing content yourself, shape it for each platform, put paid behind what wins and works, and use AI to move faster than teams twice our size.
You'll have a design team, a paid budget, and direct access to leadership. You'll report to the Director of Marketing and work daily with Communications, Design, Product Marketing, Events, and People Operations.
