Role summary

A highly respected organization is seeking a full-time, hybrid Security Engineer in Boston, MA. This role focuses on stopping threats at the front door and strengthening endpoint protection. Key responsibilities include managing email security platforms (Mimecast, Proofpoint), endpoint protection tools (Defender, SentinelOne, Absolute), threat analysis (malware, ransomware, data loss), and incident response. The ideal candidate will have experience with email and endpoint security tools, a strong background in Windows/Active Directory environments, and the ability to analyze threats beyond just responding to tickets. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role with a significant impact on the company's security posture.

Security Engineer
to help stop threats at the front door while strengthening endpoint protection across the environment.

\*This is a full-time, hybrid role, based in Boston, MA

What you’ll focus on:

•
Email security
(Mimecast, Proofpoint, or similar)

• Endpoint protection (Defender, SentinelOne, Absolute)

• Threat analysis + incident response (malware, ransomware, data loss)

• Partnering with InfoSec to investigate and reduce risk
