Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level Systems Administrator with strong Linux experience to manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. The role involves implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with development teams to optimize deployment strategies. Automation of routine tasks using tools like Ansible and Terraform, along with ensuring system security and maintaining documentation, are key responsibilities. A Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph is required, and candidates must be U.S. citizens. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is necessary.

Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems administrator who has strong Linux experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes

Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance

Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and resolve environment-related issues

Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)

Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus tools, and access controls

Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures

Stay current with DevOps trends

Requirements

Security Clearance:

Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required

Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Benefits

Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
