Role summary
A leading automotive retailer in the tri-state area is seeking certified KIA/Hyundai Service Technicians. This role involves performing repairs, diagnosing vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC), and communicating with Service Advisors. Previous automotive service experience and flat-rate work experience are preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is available.

Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Qualifications
- We hire professionals with previous automotive service experience, but we LOVE to train and develop new technicians
- ASE certifications are ideal
- PA state inspection and emissions licenses a huge plus
- Strong automotive background with experience working flat-rate
- Strong teamwork skills
- Candidate should have tools necessary for the duties of the position
