The Team You'll Work With
Every fund CFO’s office runs on spreadsheets, email threads, and a pile of portals that don’t talk to each other. We’re replacing all of it. Carta’s Investors business unit is building the system of record for private markets: the ledger, the books, the tax filings, the LP reporting, and the deal pipeline, all in one connected platform. Nearly 7,000 funds and SPVs and $150B in assets already run through it today.
Here’s the fun part: we’re not building another portal. We’re building a programmable back office. An expense lands in an inbox and gets coded to the right entity and staged for approval. A capital call goes out from a sentence. A K-1 is ready on day one. The software does the work, and customers reach it through the AI tools they already use.
It’s a pivotal moment for the business unit. The core is proven (90% of cash transactions reconciled in one day), and now we’re connecting it into a single platform that runs from fund financials to tax to LP reporting. You’ll join small, senior teams that blend startup-style speed with the rigor of software that moves real money.
We’re hiring multiple engineers, and you’ll be hired into the Investors business unit as a whole, then matched to a focus area based on your strengths and interests during our interview process. These focus areas include:

Count Anagrammatic Substrings Count the number of anagrammatic substrings from one string present in another. Input: s = "abab", p = "ab" Output: [0, 1, 2] Explanation: The substrings "ab", "ba", and "ab" starting at indices 0, 1, and 2 respectively are all anagrams of the string "ab".

Implement String Compression Implement string compression. Input: chars = ["a","b","b","b","b","b","b","b","b","b","b","b","b"] Output: ["a","b","1","2"] Explanation: The letter 'a' appears once (so no number is appended), and 'b' appears 12 times, modifying the array in place to length 4.

Split Array into Consecutive Subsequences Split an array into consecutive subsequences. Input: nums = [1,2,3,4,4,5] Output: FALSE Explanation: The numbers can form [1,2,3,4], but the remaining leftover group [4,5] is too short to form a valid sequence of length 3.
codingmedium - 5
Merge K Sorted Linked Lists Merge K sorted linked lists. Input: lists = [[2,2,3],[1,5]] Output: [1,2,2,3,5] Explanation: Extracts the smallest current node iteratively using a priority queue to build a single merged and sorted linked list.
