Role summary

Carvana is seeking a CDL A Local Truck Driver to transport vehicles between production facilities and delivery hubs. This role offers home daily, predictable schedules with opportunities for bonuses and pay differentials. Key responsibilities include loading and securing vehicles, adhering to safety procedures and delivery schedules, and maintaining a clean driving record. The position requires a valid CDL A with Med Card, ability to speak English, and at least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or equivalent military experience. Physical requirements include the ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, twist, and squat in an outdoor environment.

Average Weekly Pay: $1,900 - $2,100+ Bonus Opportunities

    • First things first. As a Vehicle Transporter, you’ll be home daily. When you’re working, you’ll be moving cars between our production facilities and delivery hubs for the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars. We offer competitive pay with our pay per mile compensation structure, along with plenty of opportunities for additional ways to earn even more. Bonus opportunities include night route differential, quarterly bonus opportunities, extra day pay, and more!

    Requirements:Valid CDL driver's license with Med CardMust be at least 21 years of ageAbility to read, write, and speak English6 months of tractor trailer in last 3 years or equivalent Military experience

    Responsibilities:

  • Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance
  • Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers
  • Following all safety procedures and maintaining driver log
  • Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations
  • Must adhere to the delivery schedule
  • Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars
  • Communicate with transportation team

  • Must be able to walk 75’ and climb a 10’ ladder
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
  • Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
  • Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
  • Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment
  • Requires frequent driving
