About This Role
The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer provides hands-on and technical EHS support for Castelion’s Torrance manufacturing, R&D, and development test operations.
This role partners closely with engineering, manufacturing, test, facilities, and EHS team members to identify hazards, evaluate technical risk, and develop practical controls that enable safe and efficient operations.
The EHS Engineer will have a particular focus on the technical evaluation of new and evolving equipment, processes, and test activities across manufacturing, composites and materials processing, machining, avionics, and development testing.
This is a field-oriented role that bridges EHS and engineering. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between the manufacturing floor and technical discussions—whether evaluating a new piece of equipment, reviewing a test setup, developing a risk assessment, participating in a design or readiness review, investigating an incident, or working with engineers to establish controls for a new process.
