Role summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Security Operations Specialist to provide on-the-ground security for their Los Angeles office. This role involves patrolling the premises, controlling access, responding to alarms, and enforcing security policies. The specialist will work the day shift alongside a contract security guard force and report to the Physical Security Operations Manager. Responsibilities include performing building walk-throughs, technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) sweeps, and documenting findings. The role requires physical stamina for patrols and lifting up to 50 pounds. A U.S. Person status and military security forces or similar experience are mandatory, with a preference for TSCM experience and an active Secret security clearance.

Role Overview:The Security Operations Specialist provides on-the-ground security for CHAOS and works alongside the contract security guard force. The role works the day shift and reports to the Physical Security Operations Manager.Responsibilities:

Patrol the office and check exits and cameras.

Perform building walk-throughs and technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) sweeps and document findings.

Control building access, support badging, and manage visitor registration.

Respond to alarms and incidents and prepare incident reports and patrol logs.

Support alarm and guard response time testing and physical security checks.

Participate in emergency drills and evacuations.

Enforce CHAOS security policies and procedures.

Work alongside the contract security guard force.

Physical demands: standing, walking patrols, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Travel: none.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person

Military security forces or similar experience

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with TSCM sweeps

Active Secret security clearance

Hourly Range: $34.00 - 58.00
