Role summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Program Manager Level III to lead a team in coordinating programs, ensuring timely and budget-aligned delivery, and aligning execution with mission goals. This role involves managing staff performance, improving delivery processes, and potentially supporting grant applications or proposals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated success in team leadership and program delivery, budget awareness, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Program Manager Level III

Join Cherokee Federal as a Program Manager Level III. You will lead a team coordinating programs, deliver results on schedule and budget, and align program execution to mission goals. You may also support grant applications or proposals.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Manager Level III: $129,015.04

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Program Manager Level III Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage a team that coordinates programs and delivers day-to-day execution.
  • Design programs aligned with organizational mission and goals.
  • Ensure milestones/goals are met and work aligns to approved budgets.
  • Execute personnel actions and manage subordinate staff performance.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of department processes to improve delivery.
  • Support development of grant applications or proposals as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Program Manager Level III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing program delivery.
  • Budget awareness, schedule discipline, and strong stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
