CityVet Alexandria King Street is hiring an Associate Veterinarian for a Hybrid GP + Urgent Care role that combines interesting medical cases with the ability to build long-term client relationships while maintaining excellent work-life balance.

This role is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy diagnostic problem solving, urgent care medicine, and collaborative team environments.

Our hybrid model creates a dynamic and rewarding caseload.

You will see a mix of:

• Scheduled GP wellness and sick visits • Urgent care walk-in cases • Soft tissue surgeries • Medical workups and diagnostics

This allows you to practice engaging, high-quality medicine while avoiding the burnout often associated with traditional ER schedules.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.

Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.

A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.

Competitive salary ranging from $125,000 to $175,000+ annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional compensation opportunities may be available.
