Role summary

ClearView Healthcare Partners seeks an entry-level Life Sciences Consultant with a PhD or MD. This role involves addressing strategic questions in the biopharmaceutical space, conducting complex problem-solving, and creating analytic tools. Consultants will present recommendations to clients and work across various practice areas. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The role follows a hybrid work model with significant in-office time during the initial period.

Role Overview

At ClearView, you will work in an entrepreneurial environment, interact with a dynamic group of colleagues, present to clients in critical business situations, and develop a deep understanding of the life sciences and biopharmaceutical industry. You will be mentored directly by ClearView managers, who have a wealth of experience in life sciences consulting. In addition, you will be exposed to a wide variety of business issues ranging from new product planning and business development to pricing & market access, launch, product commercialization, etc.

As an entry-level Consultant you should expect to:

  • Address critical strategic questions within the biopharmaceutical space
  • Work across a variety of our practice areas learning the full breadth of life sciences strategy consulting
  • Conduct complex problem-solving through a hypothesis-based approach
  • Create templated outputs to support overall project deliverable
  • Conduct a straightforward project or workstream with moderate oversight
  • Create and utilize analytic tools (e.g., forecast models) to support key decision-making
  • Communicate recommendations to clients to inform strategy and maximize value

    • Qualifications

  • This position requires a PhD in life sciences or an M.D. for consideration
  • You must be available to start in the role in February, June, July, or August 2027
  • Ability to independently manage activities across multiple workstreams (e.g., storylines, ghosting documents, data gathering, etc.), and able to provide thought partnership for more ambiguous or complex projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Highly analytical and structured approach to solving complex problems
  • Hybrid work model
  • 100% in office during onboarding and training (5 weeks)
  • 50% after the duration of onboarding and training

    • The salary for this position is $125,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

    In addition to the base salary, you will be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus, a comprehensive benefits package, and 5 weeks of training before being staffed on your first client project.
