Role summary
Seeking an experienced Halo ITSM Integration Architect / Senior Integration Developer for a remote, full-time position. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting integrations between HaloITSM and third-party systems using various methods (API, database, file, event-driven). Responsibilities include gathering requirements, translating them into technical solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, creating documentation, leading projects, and mentoring junior developers. Requires 5+ years of software development and systems integration experience, strong programming skills in C#, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or Java, and experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, and databases. Preferred qualifications include experience with HaloITSM, Azure services, identity management protocols, ETL, and ITIL frameworks.
- Design, develop, and support integrations between HaloITSM and third-party systems.
- Develop API-based, database-driven, file-based, and event-driven integrations.
- Participate in customer discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and data synchronization issues.
- Create technical documentation, integration specifications, and deployment procedures.
- Lead integration projects from design through implementation and support.
- Mentor and guide junior integration developers and consultants.
- Review technical designs and code developed by team members.
- Assist with estimating effort and defining project delivery approaches.
- Work directly with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- 5+ years of software development and systems integration experience.

- Experience integrating cloud and on-premises applications.

- Ability to work directly with customers and lead technical discussions.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior technical resources.
- Experience with HaloITSM or HaloPSA.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Power Automate.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth, SAML, and SCIM.
- Experience with ETL, data migration, and data transformation projects.
- Experience with monitoring and support of production integrations.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), Enterprise Service Management (ESM), or ITIL frameworks.
- Strong customer-service mindset.
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Passion for mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Comfortable working in a consulting and project-based environment.
