Role summary

Clutch, Canada's largest online used car retailer, is seeking a Retail Advisor for its Mississauga location. This role is the primary point of contact for customers picking up or selling vehicles, requiring exceptional customer service and attention to detail in vehicle inspection and paperwork completion. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of customer-facing experience, a valid G Driver's License, and a clean driving record. While not required, automotive industry experience and an OMVIC license are preferred. Clutch offers a competitive hourly wage of $24, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for autonomy and ownership.

About the role:

We are on a mission to build a world-class team that drives innovation, growth, and excellence. As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a Retail Advisor (Inbound Field Specialist) to be the face of our company at our Mississauga Location! Since our entire car-buying process is online, you’ll be the first Clutch employee our customers meet when they pick up or sell their vehicle. You'll have the freedom to go above and beyond to make sure every customer has a great, unique experience in this dynamic customer and transportation role.

What you’ll do:

  • Delivering a uniquely special experience to each and every one of our customers.
  • A major part of this job is having exceptional customer service skills, where you’ll be the face of the company in addressing customer needs,resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint throughout their appointment
  • Need a sharp eye for detail as you inspect vehicles, carefully assessing both cosmetic and mechanical aspects to identify potential issues, ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to our customers.
  • You will be accurately and efficiently completing customer paperwork as well as taking thorough notes in our customer tracking system inside our new facility!
  • You’ll also be a team player by assisting other team members with various tasks as necessary.

    • What we’re looking for:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience:
  • 1+ years experience in the automotive industry an asset
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • License: A G Drivers License (valid in Ontario)
  • Driving Record: 3 years of clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
  • Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. There is a 4 weekday plus 1 weekend date working schedule

    • It’d be great if you have:

  • Valid OMVIC License: Don’t have one yet? No problem! We’ll help you obtain your OMVIC license as one of the perks of working with us.
  • A passion for cars and the automotive industry
  • Experience with warranty products so that you can answer any question that arise during the process
