Role summary
Coast is seeking a Compliance Analyst to build and manage its BSA/AML/OFAC program within the B2B card payments infrastructure. This hands-on role involves investigating suspicious activity, reviewing alerts, and applying OFAC screening and BSA/AML controls. The analyst will use SQL to identify vulnerabilities, conduct quality assurance testing, and support various compliance initiatives. The position offers significant ownership and the opportunity to integrate AI tools into compliance workflows. Success in the first year includes independently managing caseloads, becoming a go-to contact for BSA/AML/OFAC operations, identifying process gaps, and building strong relationships with partners.
What is Coast
Coast is re-imagining the trillion-dollar U.S. B2B card payments infrastructure, with a focus on the country’s 500,000 commercial fleets, 40 million commercial vehicles, and many millions of commercial drivers. The incumbent technologies that cater to these customers are decades old, and businesses with fleets increasingly demand modern digital experiences and transparent financial services products. Coast’s mission is to deliver this at a transformational scale, beginning with the Coast Fleet and Fuel Card built on a cutting-edge spend management platform.
About the Role
We're hiring a Compliance Analyst to help build and run our BSA/AML/OFAC program. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to work close to the transaction data investigating alerts, spotting patterns, and turning findings into action while helping shape how a compliance program gets built from the ground up at a fast-moving fintech. You'll work directly with senior compliance leadership, giving you visibility and influence well beyond a typical analyst seat.
This role is a strong fit for someone who wants ownership early in their career: you'll help define the processes, not just follow them, and you'll have room to bring AI-powered tools into how the work gets done from day one.
