Role summary
Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) is seeking a CSA Project Engineer to manage civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) design and construction activities for their fusion power plants. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams, reviewing external designs, leading 3D model reviews, and developing Construction Work Packages. The engineer will oversee construction progress, manage material procurement, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with engineering documentation. Responsibilities also include managing system turnover, supporting quality programs, and facilitating RFI/FCR processes. The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil, Structural, or related engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in civil/structural project support and a strong understanding of the construction lifecycle for industrial facilities. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards is essential.
