Job Summary

Primary responsibilities of the Accounting Analyst to assist the Division Controller and Asst Division Controller in analysis and support of the Midwest Division finance area.

General Responsibilities:

• Responsible for weekly closing of all lines of business systems- Ivend, One Market, One Cup and One Warehouse
• Responsible for analyzing data to assist in correction and working on the over/shorts involved in the business
• Assist with acquisitions by reviewing and managing data and training new associates
• Training new associates and/or assist branches will all lines of business systems
• Engage in the use of financial systems to collect and report data
• Assist in month end close activities
• Complete excel spreadsheet analysis as directed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in field of general finance and/or accounting and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general accounting functions
• Advanced experience in Excel (pivot, lookups, and other advanced formulas), ability to pull data together with an eye for formatting/presentation
• Strong communication (written, verbal and presentations) and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under minimal supervision
• Exposure/Knowledge of SAP preferred
