Role summary
Compass Health Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their Eating Disorders Program in Northbrook. This onsite role involves providing nutrition therapy and support to adult patients, including individual sessions, group facilitation, and meal support. The Registered Dietitian will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including therapists and psychiatrists, to develop and implement individualized care plans. Responsibilities include nutrition assessments, meal planning, monitoring medical status, and coordinating aftercare. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree, be a Registered Dietitian with state licensure, and possess at least 2 years of experience in eating disorder treatment, preferably in a PHP, IOP, residential, or inpatient setting. A weight-inclusive, 'all foods fit' approach is preferred.
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
