Role summary
Compeer Financial is seeking an Accounts Payable Intern for their Mankato, MN office. This paid, part-time internship runs through Spring 2027 with potential for full-time in Summer 2027. The intern will assist the Finance department with accounts payable entries, expense reports, general ledger entries, daily deposit balancing, and other projects. Responsibilities include reviewing and coding entries, completing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and mailing checks. Candidates should be pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree and have 1-2 years of completed coursework. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access is required, along with strong client service, teamwork, and time management skills.

This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation. Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work part-time through Spring 2027 with the potential to also work full-time in the Summer 2027. The internship is located out of our Mankato, MN office location. If pursuing internship credit through your university, it is your responsibility to consult with your advisor and review the internship's job description to ensure it meets the minimum eligibility requirements.
The contributions you will make: This internship serves Compeer Financial’s internal clients by assisting the Finance department with accounts payable entries, expense reports, completing general ledger entries, balancing the daily deposit and other miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Actual hourly rate offered is dependent upon year in school, work experience, transferable skills, business needs and market demands. The hourly rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
