Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Dentist for an independent contractor role in Newport News, VA, serving senior populations in a community-based outpatient clinic. The position involves providing comprehensive dental care, including exams, preventive services, extractions, and basic restorative procedures, with a focus on quality over volume in a value-based model. The role requires a DDS or DMD, an active Virginia dental license, and DEA registration. Experience treating seniors is preferred. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity working approximately 6 days per month.

Location: Newport News, VA 23608

Schedule: Part Time- 6 days per month (Monday Tuesday or Wednesday preferred)

Compensation: $1000 daily rate

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Newport News, VA.

This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.

The Setting

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing and logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality dental care.

What You’ll Do

Provide comprehensive dental care including exams, preventive services, extractions, and basic restorative procedures

Diagnose and manage oral health conditions commonly seen in aging populations

Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team

Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

Qualifications

DDS or DMD from an accredited program

Active Virginia dental license

DEA certificate and/or Controlled Substance Registration

Experience treating senior populations preferred

Strong clinical judgment and warm chairside manner

Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Schedule

6 days per month (Monday Tuesday or Wednesday preferred)

Typical hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm

No nights

No weekends
