We are seeking an experienced DevOps for a long-term contract engagement to support the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure supporting robotics systems. This role focuses on building scalable AWS-based infrastructure, developing automation solutions, and maintaining high operational reliability across the technology stack.

The ideal candidate can onboard quickly, work independently, and move at a senior-engineer pace. While strong software engineering fundamentals are required, much of the hands-on development will be centered around AWS Lambda–based services and supporting automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support client-facing robotics systems

• Develop and maintain automation solutions using AWS-native services, including Lambda

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines

• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability across distributed systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and operating systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure operational excellence

• Apply senior-level software engineering practices, including code quality, testing, and documentation

Core Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, software development, DevOps, or related roles

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and cloud environments

• Strong software engineering proficiency in Python or Go

• Demonstrated experience automating operational tasks and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS

• Familiarity with infrastructure automation frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Experience implementing observability practices, including metrics, logging, and tracing

• Working knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance considerations

• Experience testing, deploying, and monitoring robotic systems or robotics-adjacent software

• Demonstrated track record of delivering AWS-based solutions with measurable business or operational impact
