This role will accelerate business transformation by creating governance, standards, portfolio visibility, and value realization discipline. The Senior Manager will connect business strategy, process improvement, technology, data, AI, automation, and change management, partnering with leaders to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and ensure successful outcomes. Responsibilities include designing and launching the PMO, managing the transformation portfolio, driving AI/automation/digital enablement, ensuring value realization, leading change management efforts, and managing teams and external partners. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in project/portfolio management, business transformation, or related fields, with demonstrated PMO leadership and experience applying digital technologies.
- Design and launch the PMO charter, service model, governance structure, intake process, stage gates, prioritization methodology, and portfolio review cadence.
- Establish practical standards for business cases, project charters, requirements, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, status reporting, change control, benefits tracking, and project closure.
- Create portfolio dashboards that clearly show initiative health, milestones, interdependencies, resource demand, budget status, risks, decisions, and value delivery.
- Facilitate executive portfolio reviews and decision forums; elevate trade-offs and lead fact-based recommendations on sequencing, funding, resourcing, and corrective action.
- Develop scalable delivery methods appropriate to the work, including predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches.
- Improve project-management maturity without creating unnecessary administrative burden
- Partner with business leaders to identify operational pain points, growth constraints, customer and employee experience opportunities, and technology-enabled improvements.
- Lead structured discovery, opportunity assessment, process analysis, and prioritization across departments.
- Translate strategic goals into a sequenced transformation roadmap with clear owners, dependencies, investment requirements, outcomes, and measures.
- Ensure initiatives have accountable executive sponsors, business owners, delivery owners, and benefit owners.
- Maintain transparency across the business-technology portfolio, including platforms, capabilities, planned changes, adoption gaps, and areas requiring modernization.
- Build and maintain an enterprise pipeline of high-value AI, automation, analytics, and digital opportunities.
- Assess opportunities based on strategic alignment, business value, feasibility, data readiness, risk, security, adoption requirements, and total cost of ownership.
- Partner with technical teams, business subject-matter experts, and external providers to move qualified concepts from discovery and prototype into production and scale.
- Promote responsible use of AI and ensure initiatives align with company standards for security, privacy, data, architecture, lifecycle management, and human oversight.
- Leverage the Microsoft ecosystem and core business platforms, including Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, NetSuite, CRM, FSM, and related enterprise systems.
- Partner with Finance and business leaders to define baselines, assumptions, benefit categories, measurement methods, and validation requirements before initiatives are approved.
- Establish and track financial and operational outcomes, including hard-dollar savings, cost avoidance, productivity capacity, revenue enablement, gross-margin improvement, cycle-time reduction, quality improvement, and risk reduction.
- Maintain a transformation value pipeline and regularly report forecast, committed, realized, and Finance-validated benefits.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to confirm adoption, performance, lessons learned, and corrective actions.
- Prevent double counting and clearly distinguish realized P&L impact from cost avoidance, capacity creation, and revenue influenced.
- Create change-management, stakeholder-engagement, communication, training, and adoption plans proportionate to initiative complexity and impact.
- Assess organizational readiness and work with leaders to address process, role, policy, data, and behavioral changes required for success.
- Develop practical playbooks and reusable assets that strengthen the organization's ability to adopt change.
- Use adoption and outcome data to refine solutions after launch.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Digital Transformation Leader and future PMO or transformation resources.
- Clarify roles between business owners, project managers, product or process owners, technical teams, vendors, and executive sponsors.
- Manage consultants, systems integrators, and technology partners against scope, cost, schedule, quality, security, documentation, adoption, and outcomes.
- Build a high-accountability culture focused on transparency, constructive escalation, business partnership, and measurable results
- +7 years of progressive experience across project or portfolio management, business transformation, process improvement, technology delivery, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience establishing, redesigning, or leading a PMO or enterprise portfolio-management function.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation initiatives from opportunity identification and business case through implementation, adoption, and value realization.
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, financial analysis, and decision-support skills.
- Experience applying AI, automation, analytics, and digital technologies to business processes and operating models.
- Working knowledge of enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, ERP, CRM, FSM, and data/analytics platforms.
- Ability to operate effectively in a growing, distributed, operationally complex business and to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
- Experience managing external partners, consultants, statements of work, budgets, and delivery commitments.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
