You'll be a core part of a small, fast-moving team, responsible for keeping our web ecosystem running smoothly and building on top of it. One day that might mean configuring DNS records; the next it might mean building a custom Shopify product page or tracking down why orders aren't syncing to ShipStation. You'll work directly with leadership, think through problems independently, and ship real solutions. We want someone who's not just reactive. If you see a better way to do something, we want to hear it. Good ideas get acted on here.
What You'll Work On
- Building and maintaining custom Shopify pages, product listings, and store features - including custom JavaScript, Shopify liquid, HTML, and CSS
- Implementing on-page SEO best practices across the site - page structure, metadata, site speed, schema markup, and making sure the technical foundation supports search performance
- Building and refining front-end experiences with an eye for UI/UX - pages should work well and look good, not just function
- Managing and troubleshooting integrations between platforms (Shopify, ShipStation, HubSpot, Amazon, and others)
- Diagnosing and fixing issues across the stack - from domain/DNS configuration to broken API connections
- Building backend logic and scripts to automate workflows, sync data, and reduce manual work
- Keeping systems communicating: marketplaces, fulfillment, CRM, and email platforms
- Identifying opportunities to improve how we work, then bringing those ideas to the team and executing once you have the green light
- Using modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to move fast without breaking things
What We're Looking For
- Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, PHP, or similar)
- Real experience with Shopify - theme customization, Liquid, custom storefronts, or the Admin API
- Comfort with APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with DNS, domain management, SSL, and web hosting configurations
- Experience connecting e-commerce platforms with fulfillment or logistics tools (ShipStation, Extensiv, etc.)
- Proficient with version control (Git) and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent with modern AI development tools - you actually use them, not just know they exist
- Working understanding of SEO - not just content, but the technical side: site architecture, page speed, crawlability, structured data
- An eye for clean, intuitive UI/UX - you think about how something feels to use, not just whether it works
The Soft Stuff (This Matters Just as Much)
- You can pick up a vague problem, research it, form a plan, and execute without needing someone to hold your hand
- You don't just fix what's broken — you notice what could be better and bring ideas to the table. Whether it's a faster workflow, a smarter integration, or a better way to handle something we've always done manually, you speak up and follow through once you have the green light
- You move with urgency when it matters. You don't need three meetings to get started, and you don't wait to be told something is a priority when it obviously is
- When you hit something unfamiliar, you figure it out. You're the kind of person who gets up to speed on a new platform, tool, or system quickly — not because you've seen everything, but because you know how to learn
- You communicate clearly — especially when something is broken or blocked
- You take ownership. If something's your responsibility and it's not working, you find out why
- You can think strategically, not just tactically — you understand why something matters, not just how to do it
Nice to Have
- Experience with HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar marketing/CRM platforms
- Background in Amazon Seller Central or multi-channel e-commerce
- Exposure to Liquid templating or Shopify CLI
- Any experience with data pipelines, inventory systems, or ERP tools

- Health insurance
