Role summary

Daybreak Health is seeking fully licensed California clinicians (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP) for fully remote, flexible teletherapy work. Clinicians will provide evidence-based individual therapy to youth (11-24) and/or adults (18-60) with mild-to-moderate mental health needs, and offer psychoeducation to parents/caregivers when working with younger clients. The role offers a steady stream of referrals, guaranteed pay for no-shows/cancellations, and competitive per-session compensation ($75-$95). Benefits include onboarding stipend, paid clinical consultation, malpractice insurance, and free CE credits. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Who We're Looking For

Fully licensed California clinicians (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP) ready to do meaningful, high-quality teletherapy work. You bring your clinical strengths; we let you choose how to use them — working with youth and young adults (ages 11–24), adults (18–60), or a blend of both, whatever energizes your practice most.

Associate and provisionally licensed clinicians aren't eligible for this role.

Flexibility That Actually Works For You

Fully remote — work from anywhere in the U.S.

Set your own hours, Monday–Sunday, 8am–8pm PT (weekends optional)

Just 5 sessions/week minimum, no cap — we do the heavy lifting of matching and booking your initial sessions directly into your availability, so you spend less time chasing referrals and more time doing what you love: being in the room with clients

We handle your initial intake scheduling, so your energy stays where it belongs — on care, not chasing referrals

What You'll Do

Build strong, trusting therapeutic relationships across age groups

Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to clients ages 11–24 or 18–60 with mild-to-moderate mental health needs

Offer psychoeducation to parents/caregivers when working with younger clients

What You Bring

Active LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP license in the State of California

A genuine passion for mental health care, with a commitment to culturally responsive, equitable practice

Experience providing individual therapy to youth and/or adults

Comfort and prior experience with telehealth service delivery
