Contract Cleaner – Supported Employment Opportunity

• Pay: $16.00–$20.60 per hour
• Location: Hamburg, NY & surrounding areas
• Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week | Typically Monday–Friday; some locations may include weekends and holidays

The Arc Erie County NY is looking for dependable individuals to join our team as Contract Cleaners. You’ll perform janitorial and cleaning services at community business locations while building valuable employment skills.

This is a supported employment opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities who receive eligible services through OPWDD. Employment-related services must be included in the individual’s Life Plan.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitizing
• Clean restrooms and empty trash
• Learn to operate auto scrubbers, burnishers and other janitorial equipment
• Work independently or as part of a team

• Ability and willingness to learn janitorial duties
• Dependable with attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
