Role summary
Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Dock and Door Lead Technician for their New Jersey Territory. This role involves overseeing and assisting with the repair of commercial and industrial overhead doors and dock leveling systems, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues. The technician must be able to work from heights, wear PPE, and possess their own tools. Experience with commercial overhead steel doors and a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems are required. Welding/fabricating experience is a plus. The position offers competitive hourly pay ($25.00-$38.00/hr) and benefits, including a company vehicle.

Dock and Door Lead Technician

Main Duties:
Oversee and assist in repair of overhead door and dock leveling systems
Research and resolve issues to customer satisfaction within policy while interacting effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds
Performs commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs on a variety of overhead doors and dock leveling systems
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems pertaining to the operation of overhead doors and dock leveling systems
Works from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Wears PPE and fall protection
Requirements:
Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Welding / fabricating experience a plus
Individual must have their own tools
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Good driving record and active license

Compensation:
This position is paid hourly with a pay range of $25.00/hr - $38.00/hr. Compensation is based on experience.
