Role summary

Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. This full-time, onsite position involves Monday-Friday service weeks with additional compensation for late hours. Responsibilities include providing anesthesia for Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic, and Interventional Cath Lab procedures. Candidates must be proficient in cardiovascular anesthesia and possess echo proficiency. A Cardiovascular fellowship is not required, but eligibility for Louisiana medical licensure is essential. The role includes beeper call during 7 weeks of service with a 30-minute callback requirement.

Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our team at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. Cardiovascular fellowship not required but looking for someone who is CV proficient.

Position Highlights:

  • 35 Weeks of Service Annually
  • Monday–Friday on-site schedule during service weeks
  • Additional Compensation for hours worked after 7pm
  • 2 Anesthesiologist on-site daily, working with a team of 4 CRNAs
  • Beeper call during 7 weeks of service
  • 30-minute callback requirement
  • No ER at the facility
  • Cases include Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic, and Interventional Cath Lab procedures
  • Cardiovascular fellowship is not required; however, candidates must be proficient in cardiovascular anesthesia
  • Echo proficiency required

  • CV Fellowship
