Role summary

Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for a 1099 contract role at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This position offers a broad case mix, including GI, general surgery, orthopedics, OB, and more, under a supervisory model. The role provides excellent work-life balance with 10 weeks off, a $750,000 compensation package, a $30,000 sign-on bonus, and paid malpractice with tail coverage. Call is 1:6 with post-call days off, with additional compensation available for extra call shifts.

We’re looking for an Anesthesiologist to join a seasoned team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This role offers a broad case mix within a supervisory model, strong team support, and excellent work-life balance with significant time off.

Hillcrest Medical Center

  • $750,000 1099 compensation
  • 10 weeks off
  • $30,000 Sign-On
  • Team consists of 6 anesthesiologists, with 4 on-site daily
  • 1:6 call with post-call day off!
  • Additional call compensation if desired: $1,200 per weekday call shift, $2,000 per weekend call shift (Bailey and Claremore coverage)
  • Supervisory model with general anesthesiologists typically supervising 4–5 rooms per physician
  • Case mix includes GI, general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, radiology, GYN, neurosurgery, vascular, podiatry, plastics, and general trauma
  • Assist with OB coverage
  • No cardiac or transplant cases

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
