DevOps Engineer

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams across the full product lifecycle, from design and development through deployment and operation
  • Work directly with customers to deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot solutions within customer‑managed AWS environments
  • Design and maintain infrastructure automation including CloudFormation templates, Terraform modules, Python scripts, deployment frameworks, monitoring, and self‑healing systems
  • Partner with software engineers to build robust monitoring, observability, and metrics systems prior to production release
  • Own and operate internal AWS environments and networking, balancing reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Participate in technical discussions with prospective customers alongside solution architects to address integration, security, and deployment considerations
  • Maintain clear, up‑to‑date documentation covering deployments, operational processes, and standard operating procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Engineering role
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS); certification preferred
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred; Java or Go also acceptable)
  • Deep experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (CloudFormation strongly preferred)
  • Practical exposure to AI technologies, including machine learning and large language models
  • Proven ability to automate cloud‑native infrastructure and application deployments at scale
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions, AWS CodeDeploy)
  • Familiarity with microservices architectures, containerisation, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals, networking concepts, and cloud security best practices
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers and internal stakeholders
