Role summary

EvolutionIQ is seeking a Senior Talent Sourcer with 5+ years of experience, preferably in startup/scaleup environments, to join their AI Insurance SaaS company. The role involves sourcing 50-100+ candidates weekly, writing compelling outreach messages, and utilizing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS (Greenhouse preferred). The ideal candidate is data-driven, organized, and skilled at pitching opportunities to passive candidates. This hybrid role, based in NYC or Chicago, supports various departments including Sales, Engineering, and Product. Compensation ranges from $100-110K base plus bonus, with comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

About you: You are an experienced Talent Sourcer / Recruiter who knows how to assess talent, understand candidate motivations and facilitate an amazing interview process. You have exceptional people skills and know exactly how to uncover a company's competitive edge and pitch that to candidates. You’re extremely diligent and organized and detail oriented in your craft. This person will support a wide range of roles across the business including Sales, Client Success, Shared Services, Product, Engineering and more.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sourcing & recruiting experience preferably in startup/scaleup environments
  • Expertise writing compelling sourcing messages and attracting passive candidates
  • ATS (preferably Greenhouse) proficient and savvy in other systems (LinkedIn Recruiter, G-Suite, Slack, etc)
  • The ability to pitch and sell candidates on the opportunity to join a fast growing AI company
  • Enthusiastic and extremely motivated to produce and exceed goals while working independently and alongside the team
  • Ability to work out of our NYC or Chicago office in 2+ days/week preferred
  • Data-driven approach to sourcing: you track what’s working, A/B test your outreach, and use numbers to influence hiring managers rather than just report to them.

    • Responsibilities:

  • Participate in weekly recruiting meetings with hiring managers and stakeholders that demonstrate quantifiable progress in filling roles
  • Strategically source 50-100+ candidates per week with the goal of achieving a 20%+ response rate
  • Utilize resources at your disposal such as: job ads, sourcing tools and LinkedIn Recruiter to build a pipeline of amazing talent
  • Schedule candidates with technical interviewers for a wide range of open roles

  • Compensation: The base salary range is $100-110K, with flexibility depending on a candidate’s background and experience plus annual bonus plan.
