Role summary

EWOR is seeking a remote Founding Engineer to spearhead new initiatives within its cutting-edge Fintech department. Backed by experienced serial entrepreneurs, this role offers maximum ownership and autonomy to architect systems, drive strategy, and build from scratch. The ideal candidate will translate high-level vision into execution roadmaps, driving rapid implementation from prototype to production. This is a high-growth environment focused on market validation and traction, requiring a high-agency builder mindset with proven domain expertise and end-to-end ownership.

EWOR is launching cutting-edge new initiatives, and we are looking for exceptional operators and builders to join our new department.

We are backed and led by serial entrepreneurs, including Paul Müller (founder of Adjust, €1.2B exit) and Petter Made (founder of SumUp, €8B), who have built high-impact technology and category-defining ventures from the ground up.

Tasks

You will lead and execute core 0-to-1 initiatives in cutting-edge domains such as Fintech.
You will translate high-level strategic vision into concrete execution roadmaps, driving rapid implementation from prototype to production.
You will architect scalable solutions and drive critical milestones to position the new department for rapid growth and potentially a spin-off to attract institutional backing.

You are based in Europe or the Americas (or open to relocate/remote arrangements).
You have a high-agency builder mindset, with proven domain expertise and the drive to take extreme end-to-end ownership.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
