Role Overview
As a Senior UX Designer at Fanatics, you will help shape the digital commerce experiences used by millions of sports fans around the world. You’ll partner closely with product managers and engineers to design intuitive, scalable, and high-impact experiences across the Fanatics commerce platform. Your work will directly influence how fans discover products, evaluate merchandise, and complete purchases across mobile and web. This role requires strong product thinking, exceptional design craft, and the ability to translate complex business and user problems into thoughtful, user-centered solutions.
How You Will Make An Impact

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into intuitive product experiences.
  • Conduct user research including interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand fan behavior and uncover opportunities to improve the experience.
  • Design end-to-end UX solutions including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity product designs.
  • Iterate on experiences using user feedback, analytics insights, and experimentation such as A/B testing.
  • Contribute to scalable design systems and ensure consistency across the Fanatics commerce ecosystem.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle and bring a strong point of view to product decisions.
  • Present and communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and collaborate with other designers to help elevate the overall quality of design within the organization.

What You Bring To The Team

  • 5+ years of UX / product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and outcomes.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma.
  • Experience designing complex digital product experiences, ideally within eCommerce or consumer platforms.
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and communicate effectively with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of user research, usability testing, and data-informed design iteration.
  • Experience working within or contributing to design systems.
  • Passion for creating thoughtful, polished user experiences that balance user needs and business goals.
  • A genuine interest in sports and fan culture is a strong plus.

Where You’ll Work And What’s Required

  • Hybrid work environment flexibility, with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in office; Mondays and Fridays days remote.

*The salary for this position is between $155,000 - $185,000 per year, in compliance with California’s salary transparency requirements. This range reflects the expected compensation based on qualifications, experience, and location.*
