Role summary

Sun and Sage ABA is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavior Technician in Santa Fe, NM, for a part-time role. This position involves providing 1:1 support to children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), under the guidance of a BCBA. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, collecting progress data, and collaborating with a team. Training and certification support are provided. The role requires strong communication, organization, patience, and empathy, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 11 AM. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.

What You’ll Do:

✨ Work directly with clients to implement personalized ABA treatment plans ✨ Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support communication and daily living skills ✨ Collect data to track progress and celebrate success ✨ Provide engaging and safe sessions in a supportive environment ✨ Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and teammates ✨ Maintain documentation in compliance with HIPAA

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Certified RBTs highly encouraged to apply ✅ ABA or childcare experience also welcomed (training pay available while becoming certified) ✅ Strong communication and organization skills ✅ Patience, empathy, and commitment to helping others ✅ Comfortable working weekday 9am-11am
