Role summary

Fluxon is seeking a Talent Partner to join their Americas Talent team, reporting to the Lead Talent Partner. This remote role, based anywhere in Canada, offers significant autonomy and ownership in shaping hiring processes as the company grows. The Talent Partner will manage the full candidate journey for engineering, product, design, and operations roles, focusing on exceptional candidate experience, efficient interview coordination, and proactive outbound sourcing. The role emphasizes using AI tools to enhance sourcing and speed, maintaining ATS data integrity, and collaborating with the team to improve processes. A minimum of 3 years of technical recruiting experience is required, along with a strong commitment to candidate experience and problem-solving.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Talent Partner to be the second member of our Americas Talent team, reporting to our Lead Talent Partner. You’ll join a team spread across AMER, EMEA and APAC. As we grow past 300 people, you’ll have real room to shape how we hire.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. Fluxon runs on trust and autonomy. Nobody will hand you a playbook, but you’ll have the support to write a better one. You should apply if you see every candidate interaction as a reflection of the company, and if you’d rather fix a broken process than work around it.

What you’ll do

Partner with Lead Talent Partners to design and manage the full candidate journey for evergreen and specialist roles across engineering, product, design and operations, from first outreach to signed offer.

Run intro calls and act as each candidate’s main point of contact, keeping them informed, prepared and respected at every stage.

Coordinate interview loops, and work closely with hiring managers and interviewers so processes keep moving and feedback stays timely.

Run outbound: find passive candidates, write outreach people actually answer, and test what works.

Share market insights and flag challenges.

Use AI tools deliberately to source smarter and move faster, which frees up your time for the human parts of recruiting.

Keep our ATS clean and current so we can trust our data.

Share knowledge, support teammates, and suggest improvements to the Talent team’s processes.

What we’re looking for

3+ years of recruiting experience with real exposure to technical hiring, whether agency, in-house or both.

A high bar for candidate experience, meaning fast replies, clear communication, and honesty even when the answer is no.

The organization to juggle multiples roles, candidates and calendars without dropping threads.

You can push back on a hiring manager and turn down a candidate, and both still trust you afterward.

Comfort with cold outreach. You don’t mind writing to strangers, and silence doesn’t put you off.

AI tools are already part of how you work, and you’re curious about how to use them better.

A problem-solving instinct: when something’s broken, you dig in, propose a fix and follow through.

Nice to have: Experience with Greenhouse or Ashby; a startup or consultancy background

The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 CAD annually. We consider your skills and experience and what similar roles pay at companies similar to us when determining your offer.
