Role summary
Formlabs is seeking a Strategy & Operations Analyst to join their IT & Systems organization. This role involves taking ambiguous business problems from various departments, scoping them, and building solutions using SQL, Python, automation, and AI tools. The analyst will also support the CIO in running the IT & Systems organization, driving OKRs, reporting, and roadmapping for a 26-person team. The position requires 2-4 years of experience in consulting, business operations, or a similar analytical role, with a strong builder mindset and technical skills in SQL and Python. This hybrid role is based in Somerville, MA, with at least 3 days a week in office.
Join Formlabs if you want to bring ground-breaking professional 3D printers to the desktop of every designer, engineer, researcher, and artist in the world.
As a Strategy & Operations Analyst at Formlabs, you will turn messy business problems into shipped solutions. You’ll take problem statements from teams across the company — Finance, Operations, Sales, Support, R&D — scope them, rally the right people, and build much of the solution yourself with SQL, Python, automation, and AI tools. You’ll also be a key partner to the CIO in running the IT & Systems organization: driving OKRs, reporting, and roadmapping across a 26-person team spanning data platform, digital systems, financial systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
This is a role for someone early in their career with a very strong ability to learn quickly — someone who has done analytical or operations work at a consulting firm, startup, or BizOps team, and who would rather build the fix than write the deck about it.
You will report directly to the CIO and work closely with the leaders of each IT & Systems team.
This role is based in our Somerville, MA office and will be a hybrid role with the expectation of at least 3 days a week in office.
