Frontier Dermatology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for their Portland clinic. This role involves assisting providers with procedures, patient education, and daily tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service, organizational, and detail-oriented skills. A background as a Medical Assistant program graduate, Certified/Registered MA, or Certified Derm Tech is required, along with a HS Diploma/GED and minimal healthcare experience. The position offers hybrid work with travel to local clinics and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401k matching, PTO, and paid holidays.

Position Details:

  • Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
  • Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
  • Location: Portland primary location, travel required once a week to Gresham and possible travel to Vancouver (mileage reimbursed)
  • Typical Schedule: Varied Tuesdays - Fridays, 7:30am - 5:00pm

    • Qualifications:

  • Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, a Certified or Registered MA, or a Certified Derm Tech
  • Certification through the WA State Dept of Health strongly preferred, some exceptions may be made for Registered MA's depending on experience
  • HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
  • Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some MA duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks
  • Our medical assistants must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and very detail oriented. See our mission below!
