About Fulfillment IQ
Fulfillment IQ (FIQ) is a supply chain engineering and transformation company that helps brands, retailers, and 3PLs design, build, and scale high-performance logistics operations.

We work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, solving complex, real-world problems across warehouse design, automation, order management, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain execution. Our teams combine deep domain expertise with strong technical capability, delivering outcomes through consulting, systems implementation, and proprietary platforms that accelerate time-to-value and reduce delivery risk.

If you enjoy working in complex environments, partnering closely with clients and experts, and seeing your work make a tangible impact on how global commerce moves, this is a place where your skills and judgment come to life.

Marketing at FIQ
We are building a small, hands-on marketing team with one job: turn conferences and useful content into qualified conversations with the right buyers at brands, retailers and 3PLs. The team runs two motions:

  • Conference and buyer events: we attend a conference because the right buyers are there and a practice has a relevant offer, and we add dinners, roundtables or expert sessions when that improves access to those buyers.
  • Named-account campaigns: we pick accounts with our sellers, identify the buyer and a credible business problem, and reach them through content, organic LinkedIn, email, the website and coordinated seller outreach.

We do not run paid advertising. We work alongside an established media, editorial and community program (including the eCom Logistics Podcast and the CrossDock community), with in-house design support and a RevOps lead who owns HubSpot configuration and funnel reporting. We use AI extensively for research, drafting, repurposing and analysis, with human verification and clear accountability for every published claim.

The Role
You will own the content that has to produce pipeline: offer pages, case studies, executive posts, email and seller material for supply chain, logistics and 3PL buyers. This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who already knows this industry, writes with authority, and can show what they personally published, improved and measured.

You will turn FIQ's practice expertise into content that buyers find, trust and act on. You own discoverability (SEO, GEO, AEO) and distribution, not just publication, and you are measured on whether the content reaches the right people and helps turn them into qualified conversations. You will build on established positioning and offers, not start from scratch, and you will protect factual accuracy as fiercely as you protect the brand voice.

What You Will Own
Buyer-facing content and product marketing

  • Turn established positioning and practice offers into clear buyer messages, offer pages, case studies, sales decks, objection handling and competitive guidance.
  • Interview practice leaders and customers to extract real evidence and original perspective; maintain an approved claims register and never publish a claim that has not been verified and approved.
  • Write thought leadership that demonstrates expertise through specifics, examples and source-backed reasoning.
  • Keep voice and accuracy consistent across the website, LinkedIn, email, case studies and sales material.

Discoverability: SEO, GEO and AEO

  • Research buyer questions, search intent and existing coverage; prioritize page improvements and topic development that reach buyers, not just traffic.
  • Own descriptive titles and headings, answer structure, internal linking, accessible text, metadata and CMS publishing.
  • Make content reliable and understandable to people and to search and answer systems through source quality, expert attribution and clear explanation.
  • Diagnose discoverability issues and brief technical support on crawl, indexing, redirects, performance or structured data. Measure visibility honestly; no promised rankings or citations.

Distribution and campaign production

  • Create channel-specific LinkedIn posts, email copy and seller follow-up from every priority asset, and assign a distribution plan before anything is published.
  • Produce the content for conference campaigns and named-account campaigns with the Senior Marketing Manager and the Field Marketing Manager: invitations, landing pages, expert-session material and follow-up assets.
  • Repurpose approved podcast and community material with the Community & Media Lead, preserving meaning and permissions. Brief designers on the creative each piece needs.

Measurement and editorial operations

  • Track search visibility, qualified visits, inquiries, seller usage and content-assisted conversion; distinguish activity from commercial intent.
  • Run a clear brief, SME review, approval and refresh workflow, with versioned approved assets in SharePoint.
  • Use AI to accelerate research and production; verify sources and edit personally before anything goes out.

What Success Looks Like
First 90 days

  • Days 1 to 30: audit approved positioning, assets, search performance and distribution; agree the priority buyer questions and the claims-review process.
  • Days 31 to 60: deliver two priority offer kits (page copy, proof, distribution assets and seller follow-up); repair the highest-impact content and tracking gaps.
  • Days 61 to 90: review search, distribution and buyer response; refresh underperforming assets; establish a repeatable expert-to-publication workflow.

Year one measures

  • One substantial buyer asset per month and one approved customer story per quarter, subject to expert and customer access.
  • 100% of material factual claims supported and approved before publication; every priority asset has an audience, intent, call to action and distribution plan.
  • At least 90% of agreed delivery dates met.
  • Growth in non-brand search visibility and qualified visits, and inquiries from content that Sales accepts as qualified. AI-answer visibility is tracked as a diagnostic, not a quota.

What You Bring

  • Required: supply chain, logistics or fulfillment knowledge. You have written for operators or technology buyers in supply chain, logistics, 3PL, warehouse or fulfillment technology, and you can show it. We ask for a link to one published piece at application.
  • Typically five to eight years in B2B content, technical writing or content and product marketing, with a portfolio that demonstrates personal authorship and editorial judgment.
  • Strong practical SEO, GEO and AEO: buyer-intent research, page structure, internal linking, evidence and visibility measurement. You can explain the baseline, what you changed and what happened.
  • Demonstrated distribution through company and executive LinkedIn, email, seller use and relevant communities, with outcomes beyond impressions.
  • Ability to interview subject-matter experts, refine established positioning and make complex services understandable without inventing claims.
  • CMS publishing and search and analytics fluency; able to diagnose content issues and brief technical support on crawl, indexing and site requirements.
  • Rigorous fact-checking, customer permissions and AI editing. Consistent brand narrative and tone across channels.
  • Reliable ownership of briefs, reviews, deadlines and asset maintenance in a small, fast-moving team.
  • Paid-advertising expertise is not required. Demonstrable ownership and execution matter more than any specific title.
