Role summary
Fullmind is seeking a remote, 1099 contract Virtual Teacher of Record (TOR) and Case Manager for their Homeschool Extension program. This role requires a Minnesota-certified teacher with a specialization in Student with Disabilities, a Bachelor's degree, and familiarity with MN standards and SIS coordination. The TOR will serve as the primary educational partner for students and families, responsible for academic and compliance records, curriculum guidance, and virtual instruction delivery. The position involves approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and pass a background check and skills demonstration.
- Pay Rate: $30-35/hourly; rates are negotiable and subject to change.
- Fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity.
- Schedule: 10-15 hours per week. The educator will schedule sessions based on student weekday availability.
- Valid Student with Disabilities Minnesota teaching license required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
The Role
This Mentor Teacher role serves as the Teacher of Record (TOR) and primary educational partner for Fullmind’s Homeschool Extension families. The goal of this engagement is for the Mentor Teacher to truly get to know each student and family, advise and support them throughout their educational journey, and help families make informed choices about curriculum, resources, and instruction that best meet their student's needs. As TOR, the Mentor Teacher is also the accountable signatory on each student's academic and compliance records.

As a Fullmind Teacher of Record, you will:
- Serve as the family's academic point of contact
- Coordinate with Fullmind ops/enrollment, the academic lead on standards, the district registrar on records, and the district SPED case manager when applicable
- Act as the accountable signatory on academic and compliance records
- Review the weekly student reflection/engagement logs to produce and grading attendance records
- Ensure attendance and grading records are complete, accurate, and reporting-ready weekly
- Verify each student's schedule/curriculum maps to current MN standards
- Oversee progress against grade-level benchmarks
- Respond to academic/instructional questions
- Coordinate with the district-assigned case manager so platform accommodations and services are reflected
- Administer online assessments when applicable
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid Student with Disabilities Minnesota teaching license required.
- Familiarity with MN standards and assessment/compliance expectations.
- Comfort SIS coordination and documentation workflows.
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Participate in a virtual skills demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
